I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
As most of you know I lost my Mum to pancreatic cancer. I’m not ashamed to tell you how everyday is a struggle and how utterly broken I am without her. How devastated and heartbroken all my family are to have her stolen away from us so suddenly, with no treatment on offer and no time for her to fight.
It’s insane that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer lose their lives within 3 months. It’s difficult to diagnose in it’s early stages as symptoms are so similar to many other health issues. Without regular screening and a reliable way of testing this disease will carry on destroying more families and taking those we love so dearly away from us far too soon. I want to try to help support the ongoing research that may just give people more time to fight!
I am going to push hard and try and raise as much as I can. I have a number of challenges and fund raising events planned. I’d love for you to join me and help support others.

Ok…here we go! 😬 After having to cancel twice due to illness and it being the hottest weekend ever, I am FINALLY about to attempt the next fundraising challenge. I will be cycling for 24hrs (non stop) from 10am this Saturday to 10am Sunday. If anyone is around and wants to come along for a part of it then that would be so lovely. Just call and come find me. My route will take me on a local 30mile circular lap that I will repeat over and over again 😳😬 This isn’t about how far I go or how fast. It’ll be about endurance and how long I can keep going for. I want to get to 24hrs but I need your help! Please if you can, help me raise awareness of pancreatic cancer and hopefully give others a little more time to fight this cruel decease.
