After a 4 year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, our wonderful mum Sue passed away in November 2024 at just 59 years old. Mum was kind, selfless, and always put us before herself in everything she did. She taught us to be brave, strong, and you could do anything you put your mind to.
In honour of mum, myself, my brother James, and a group of amazing friends will be running the Bristol 10k in her memory and to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer - one of the most underfunded cancers.
The South West’s biggest and best running event takes runners on a stunning 10k or half marathon tour of Bristol & it’s most famous landmarks.
It’s a run for everyone, of all ages and abilities – an inclusive celebration of running, with music blazing, crowds buzzing, legs pumping and fists bumping. The city comes alive on the AJ Bell Great Bristol Run weekend.
