In memory of my Dad...always the optimistic.

By Sophie McNamee

I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

This year I lost my Dad to Pancreatic Cancer, just 50 days after diagnosis. He was given no time to fight it or even complete a bucket list.

Dad was always optimistic, positive and living life to the full.

1 in 4 people diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer won’t survive a month. It is the toughest cancer to diagnose, treat and survive.
It is the only cancer with a single digit 5 year survival of 2-9% and receives less than 3% of cancer research funding.

I don't want anyone to go through the pain I have. Money is needed for a simple test for early diagnosis which could save lives.

My donations could fund...

5 hours with a nurse on our Support Line

or

2 hours of early diagnosis research
