I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
For the last 5 years Erin has taken part in the Big Step Forward, raising vital funds for PCUK. This year Erin will take on her 6th walking challenge to continue raising funds in memory of her Granda. Sadly Erin's Granda missed out on meeting her, passing away to this awful cancer, just 6 short weeks before she was born. This year Erin will walk 6 miles with the aim of raising as much awareness as possible and funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK. Our hope is that one day this cancer will be able to be detected early, giving patients and families hope that they can fight and win their battle against cancer!
A little about PCUK
At Pancreatic Cancer UK we go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease. Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, we do more.
We bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through our expert nurses. We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten.
