I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.

Survival rates for other cancers have improved dramatically in recent years. But decades of underfunding mean we still don’t have the tests and treatments to tackle this disease. People with pancreatic cancer have been overlooked and ignored for far too long.

That’s why I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK and I'd really appreciate your support. Your donations will support vital, world-leading research, ensure specialist nurses are there to take more calls and fuel campaigns to drive positive change.

Together, we will bring more than hope to people affected by pancreatic cancer.

Nic with support crew (Marc) is walking 24 miles (actually 30 on walking route) from Worcester to Gloucester Rugby Club - James Rugby club since he was a child, (planned for the 23rd) but if she loses light, she may need to continue on the 24th 😉 

The Challenges... so far

Sharon - I'm going to do 240km indoor cycling, 24km walking and 2.4km swimming in 24 days starting 4th November.
Rachel Faull Brown - started yesterday 30th, she is running 240km in 24 days!
Arlo Faull Brown (age 5) - starting 1st November is running 1 mile every day for 24 days.
Andrea Faull Brown - is joining Arlo doing 1 mile per day for 24 days, is running a half marathon, and doing 24 ice tub dips in 24 days too! 
Sue Johnson is running 24km and swimming 240 lengths in November.
Tom Johnson is running 12km and walking 12km on 12th  November.
Corinne Jones is doing 1 hour at the gym - cardio and weights for 24 consecutive days starting 1st November.
Steve Jones asked his PT to set his challenge! big mistake - so he is doing on alternate days - 50 of each of pull ups, bench press 60kg, deadlifts 60kg, squats 60kg, burpee box jumps and sit ups and 24 sled pushes 100kg. when he's on holiday, he has to so 24000 steps each day.

JNC 2024

Hi, its been almost 4 years since James past, but he's 100% not forgotten. This is our 5th (and final) James Newbury Challenge and we are aiming high. over the past 4 years we've raised almost £13000 which is incredible, so we are hoping to hit £15000.
The JNC is a great way to remember and celebrate James, his sense of adventure and his love of taking on a challenge!
