I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of my father Anthony Maynard. He passed away peacefully at our family home on Saturday 13th June 2020. I'd love it if you'd support me, my family and my fundraising to help fund early diagnosis research breakthroughs that will transform the future. 

With pancreatic cancer, silence is deadly. It’s a disease that gets too little attention and funding and far too many people are dying. Half of people diagnosed die within 3 months. Research will transform the future for pancreatic cancer.

On Tuesday 27th August 2019, he broke the terrible news to us. Instantly, I felt empty. I asked myself so many questions. How long do we have left with him? Will he see me get married? Will my children meet their grandfather? Will he meet them? Everyday, I still ask myself these questions. What would it of been like? Everyday, I miss him more and more. If we can help prevent this happening to other families, then we have been successful. If any good can come of this, then we will do our very best to make that happen. That’s what he would have wanted, for us to help others in anyway possible. Hope we are making you proud Dad. Love you always.

AM59 Marathon Ski Erg

Marathon Ski Erg…. yes, you did read that correctly!!!
This years AM59 challenge will be 42,195m on the Concept 2 Ski Erg.

I am not alone, my older brother Tom Maynard will also be completing a marathon Ski Erg too. Our target is to raise £2,000 in memory of our Dad, Anthony Maynard, who sadly passed away from this cruel disease on June 13th 2020. Raising money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer UK is very important to as a family so any donations and support will be greatly appreciated.

Since March 2020, during the first Covid lockdown, I decided that I would start growing my hair. If we’re able to surpass £2,000 and reach £4,000 I will also donate my hair to Little Princess Trust.
