My Mum đź’ś
This bastard of a disease took my amazing mum’s life in a little under 7 months last year. It was detected and diagnosed far too late. Despite a rollercoaster of a journey, hope then despair, more hope then more despair, her courage and fight was just not enough and on the 14th of October she lost the battle. She has left a hole in our hearts and lives that can never ever be filled.Â
Research needs to happen. Screening needs to take place. Detection and diagnosis has to be sooner. Lives need to be saved.Â
Starting Monday 27th July 2020 I am going to walk 24 miles; 1 mile a day for 24 days. For my Mum đź’ś
