Pancreatic Cancer Took My Dad Too Soon 💜

It will be 10 years in October since we all lost my Dad to this awful disease! When you have seen someone suffer in so much pain and hideaway from everyone they love, it takes a little piece of you away. I decided I could hide away and not face the world after Dad died or I could get up and get on just like he always did with life. 

So each year I try to do a little fundraiser to help raise awareness of this deadly disease and also raise some funds towards new research.

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.

Survival rates for other cancers have improved dramatically in recent years. But decades of underfunding mean we still don’t have the tests and treatments to tackle this disease. People with pancreatic cancer have been overlooked and ignored for far too long.
