A walk for June

By Rebecca Brett

I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Last year we lost our beloved Grandma to pancreatic cancer. It was quick and brutal and she lost her fight on the 8th of July leaving us still processing the diagnosis. June was an energetic, active, happy 79 year old who didn't let much stand in her way. She loved her dogs and would walk with them for miles. Our grandma would have been 80 this year and with her birthday and anniversary of passing so close together we wanted to mark the occasion with a walk to raise money to help fight this terrible disease. Our walk will start at blyth beach and end at east Hartford community centre. Times and exact details still to be finalised.

My donations could fund...

15 hours with a nurse on our Support Line

or

6 hours of early diagnosis research
