I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
I am raising funds by walking 74
miles for the 74 years my dad was with us.
He was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in September 2020 which
by the time of diagnosis had already metastasised and spread to his Liver.
He fought a brave battle overcoming Sepsis to outlive his
original 8-12-week diagnosis and staying with us until the day after his 74th
birthday.
What I learned is that Pancreatic Cancer is a silent Cancer
where it is generally already too late to treat by the time of diagnosis and
any care is palliative.
Anything I can do to help raise a little bit to fund research in
to this Cancer which is incredibly common yet no cure and any support you can
give would be appreciated.
