I am raising funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of a dear friend and colleague and anyone else who has been affected by this awful disease. I thought it would be a fitting tribute to undertake a 60 mile cycle ride starting at Goring Road Llanelli, heading to Llandeilo, then Carmarthen before returning to Ty Elwyn Llanelli.
For those who knew Anthony, you will understand the relevance of this chosen route. The cycle will provide an opportunity to reflect on the significant contribution he made in his distinguished career. When completed, I will be raising a Guinness or 2 - a drink we often had together!
