I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
We are holding our annual Fundraising Quiz in memory of Sammi Bainbridge on 13th November 2025 at The Farmer's Arms, Scorton at 8pm.
Please come and support us or, if you can't make the quiz, then hold one between friends or family at a time to suit yourselves. Just contact me after 13th and I'll send it out to you.
We'll be having a raffle on the night with first prize being a night away in 'Sammi's Freight Train', a unique and magical retreat with wood fired hot tub.
Pancreatic Cancer UK were so amazingly supportive to Sammi throughout her illness. They do incredible, groundbreaking work but there is still so much more to do.
Here is a message from the charity:
We go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease. Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, we do more.
We bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through our expert nurses. We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten.
