In memory of Stuart & Barry Parker

The photo above was taken on a memorable night out in Spain a little over 10 years ago, shortly before Stuart's 40th birthday. It's hard to believe that both he and his Dad, Barry were taken by the same disease before he'd turned 50. It's for this reason that we've decided to try and raise some money in their memory.
We were due to take part in this event but it was cancelled due to the pandemic. Now that restrictions have been eased regarding the amount of exercise you can do we thought we'd do it anyway!
The Pathfinder March is an annual 46-mile (74 kilometre) long-distance walk around the County of Cambridgeshire. The March is held to perpetuate the memory of the famous Royal Air Force Pathfinder Force (8 Group).
When the Pathfinder Force was first formed (in 1942), it was based at RAF Wyton and RAF Oakington, with two satellite airfields at Graveley and Warboys. The Pathfinder March links these four historic stations to create one of the toughest annual events in the RAF’s sporting calendar.
We'll be attempting the March on the 20th June, the date that the event was originally scheduled for.

That was hard work!
We finished in a little over 16 hours but there were points when we wondered if we would finish at all! We were lucky with the weather as there was cloud cover for most of the day. We had a little rain late in the day, fortunately we had ponchos with us! Really happy to have raised so much in honour of two fantastic men. ShareThank you to my Sponsors
