I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Nigel was not only a loving father and husband, but a jolly and friendly soul for all who knew him; family, friends, work colleagues, parents at school, teachers and governors. He always had time to chat, accompanied by a warm smile.
Pancreatic cancer was the cruel disease that took him so swiftly from us, in the worst of circumstances during lockdown. Losing him has left a void in our lives, but we know he would be very proud that we are raising funds with our friends and family for world leading research and providing vital support services. At the same time this is a great opportunity to raise awareness of the symptoms of this disease, that currently is mostly diagnosed too late for any treatment.
