I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research.

Please support me and help make a difference to pancreatic cancer.

We have recently lost a colleague to pancreatic cancer and I would like to help make a difference to others through raising funds.

1 mile a day to some may seem a short distance but to others it’s enough to have to put effort in.

Thank you

My donations could fund...

8 hours with a nurse on our Support Line

or

3 hours of early diagnosis research

Walk 28

Bank holiday Monday and the sun is out

A walk from Pennard Village around the golf course ⛳️ and down to Three Cliffs Bay with views that are amazing 🥰

Absolutely gorgeous walk, never tire of crossing the river 🥰

Walk over toward Tor Bay watching the tide come in

Back across the beach and that magical river and up to Pennard Castle -that view! 😍

Shaded breather and then back to the path around the golf 🏌️‍♀️ course

Our longest walk this month - I won’t do anymore blogs now as our challenge is truly complete xx

Rest in peace lovely Gaynor 💜💜

Walk 27

Lliw Valley Reservior 💜💙💜🐶

Lovely walk along the reservoirs on the lower / quieter track, great tree 🌲 shade

Walk 26

Oxwich Bay evening walk on a bank holiday weekend - lush !!

We walked just over a mile across the Bay and another coming back. Such a beautiful place 💙🥰

2 more miles for the cause 💜

Walk 25

We couldn’t make walk 24 out last one when the weathers so lovely 😊

Cefn Bryn and Arthur’s Stone

Just over a mile 💚🐶💚

Walk 24

Tonight is our last walk for Challenge 24 💜

Back to Cwmdonkin Park tonight with fur baby and met with my friend and one of her fur babies 🐶

Last mile walked for Challenge
We’ve walked in the sun, the rain and  the wind and wouldn’t have changed it as all for such a good cause and in memory of a lovely colleague “G”

Adding up all the miles we have walked = 32 miles in 24 walks over 26 days

Huge thanks to all who sponsored my fur baby and I 💜

Walk 23

Along the River Tawe path this evening passing the Copper Quarter with the wind against us but
Storm Francis won’t stop us completing our challenge 👍🏻💜 another mile done ✅

Walk 22

Kilvey Hill tonight, rain didn’t stop play 👍🏻

My fur baby had fur baby company and I had human company with my bestie 💜💜🐶🐶

Got 2.5 miles in tonight and for anyone who has climbed Kilvey Hill, it’s far from a walk on the flat !

We’ve walked more than our target miles and today is day 24 💜

Walk 21

Limeslade bay tonight for a walk amongst the pebbles and rock pools, fur baby loves a rock pool!

Then up to the coastal path and along to path toward Rotherslade, amazing waves tonight ! Beautiful view on the path of the next bays along the path ❤️🌊

Another mile walked - over our distance target now 💜

Walk 20

West Cross tonight at almost high tide 🌊 still managed to get a quick walk on the beach in with my fur baby 🐶

1.5 miles walked and we have completed more than our goal of 24 miles

Every step walked 🐶 has joined me - well done 🐶💜

Walk 19

Brynmill Park for our walk tonight, fur baby and I, with my Mum joining us 💜🐶

Another mile down and one mile to go ! 🙂

Walk 18

So due to finishing work later, then having to help out a family member along with a home delivery arriving 2 hours early I only had time for a local walk tonight  👟

But another 1 mile walked and had the company of my four legged friend 🐶❤️

Walk 17

Lovely walk down memory lane tonight in Port Eynon with great company 💜💙💜

A walk along the beach and then up and along the sand dunes and over to the Salt House and over to the rocks to watch the 🌊

A walk back the way we came and up to St Cattwgs Church ⛪️

Another 1.4 miles walked 🙂

Walk 16

Gorgeous sunny evening for a walk along Loughor foreshore and back.

1.5 miles walked with my fur baby and a lush school friend 🐶 👩🏼

Walk 15

Parc Treforys / Morriston Park tonight for the mile walk and I had company to walk again 🥰

1.2 miles around the Park and a few minutes before leaving the rain came from nowhere so it became a fast walk to the car and I completely forgot to stop the walk app ! 🤪. So it’s counted the 1.2 mile walk and the 3.4 miles I drove until I heard the app speak 🤣 (1.2 miles + 3.4 miles = 7.4 km)

Walk 14

An evening walk in Swansea Marina and over the sail bridge with two of my favourites 👨🏻‍🦲🐶

Love to see the mixture of the old and new buildings. So pretty with the lights on the water.

Over 2/3’s of days and miles complete 🙂

Walk 13

Missed the walk last night due to the rain and pain in my back but made up the miles and a little more tonight.

Penmaen Burrows down to the beautiful Three Cliffs Bay. Walking over sand compared to hard ground takes a little longer and to say the walk back up the sand dune and sandy path on the steep incline back to Penmaen Burrows was easy is an understatement! But I did it and loved it 🌊

Another 2.5 miles in the bag - my usual daily map my walk photo doesn’t have a true reading as busy putting a sandy tired dog in the car I forgot to hit the stop button until a few miles down the road ! 😜

Walk 12

The weather is still hard going as so airless so we stayed local tonight and walked around a few blocks up hill and down hill.

No photos tonight as it was getting dark and as cloudy not even a nice sunset to see.

Walk 11

Fur baby and I did this evenings walk in Cwmbwrla Park.
Beautiful evening and a little cooler than earlier today. We were about to complete 2 miles but heavy rain and thunderstorm stopped us ⛈ Always tomorrow 👍🏻

Walk 10

Cwmdonkin Park was the venue for the walk this beautiful evening.

So lovely to see the park being used by young children there and the tennis courts too.

Even managed to catch a glimpse of Mumbles through the trees 🌳

Walk 9

First a walk around Nant y Fendrod, then up along the stream to the cycle track and back.  Then over to Swansea Vale nature reserve and back. Perfect evening for walking as the sun sets with my Mum and fur baby 🧑🏼🐶

Walk 8

Local walk again tonight, my fur baby wasn’t interested in joining me as it’s just too warm for her.
Beautiful summers evening to stretch the legs and enjoy fresh air.

Walk 7

Beautiful evening walk at Llangennith Beach with my Husband and our little fur baby 🐶
Walked miles over sand dunes, pebbles, dry sand, wet sand and through the shallow sea too 🌊 whilst the sun began to set
On target with miles and hoping to raise more for Pancreatic cancer UK

Walk 6

Raining again which wouldn’t usually put me off but I was also feeling a little under the weather.  So I thought I would put headphones on and walk in my garden - never mind I did the mile again tonight 🏠👍🏻🙂

Walk 5

Another rainy evening walk in the company of my Mum and 🐶

Keeping it local tonight and no photos as it’s a gloomy dark rainy night  ☔️🏙

Walk 4

Walked in the rain ☔️ this evening
I need to learn to hit stop on the walk app! 1.4 miles walked but should have hit stop a while ago at 1 mile, have left it running whilst at home 🏠 ooopps! ...... tomorrow is another day 👍🏻

Walk 3

Evening walk around Parc Treforys  & Claremont Road with my four legged friend 🐶 ⭐️

Walk 2

Lovely walk around Parc Llewelyn this morning 💚💚

Walk 1

Walked from the Guildhall to the Monument via main path in Victoria Gardens, along the beach up to the Monument .

Then along the Prom to St Helens, passing The Patti using the far side path of Victoria Gardens and back to the Guildhall 💜  - 1 mile
