Pancreatic cancer is tough – tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. And, in the uncertain times we’re currently experiencing, things have become even tougher for people with pancreatic cancer.
Mum is starting to lose her hair, darn you chemo!, and wants to celebrate her hair before shaving it all off to raise much needed funds for this vital cause!

Yesterday we all came together and celebrated mums hair before saying goodbye to it. Thank you to everyone who was with us physical, watching via social media and those who couldn’t make it but continued to check in via messages/calls.

Mums bandanas have arrived and she is enjoying trying them on and tying them in different ways. Well when I say enjoying, I mean as best as she can!
It’s becoming real...
When mum said she was starting to lose her hair the other day, I could hear her choking up. Hair is a big part of our identity and chemo has already destroyed her nails and teeth and now is causing her hair loss too. I suggested to her about having a ‘goodbye hair’ celebration with close friends and family and this has allowed her to still be in control. It’s not going to be easy for her (or anyone!) to see her without her hair so please any words of encouragement would be highly appreciated!Thank you to my Sponsors
