I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.

Survival rates for other cancers have improved dramatically in recent years. But decades of underfunding mean we still don’t have the tests and treatments to tackle this disease. People with pancreatic cancer have been overlooked and ignored for far too long.

That’s why I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK and I'd really appreciate your support. Your donations will support vital, world-leading research, ensure specialist nurses are there to take more calls and fuel campaigns to drive positive change.

Together, we will bring more than hope to people affected by pancreatic cancer.

5 more miles walked yesterday in aid of Pancreatic cancer awareness month. #Challenge24 (nearly 3 more today!)

At the half way point of my walk yesterday, I started thinking, would I actually be able to make a difference doing this? 
Just at that moment a robin flew down and landed directly on the path in front of me, it stayed there a moment and I’m sure it was Dad encouraging me to keep going 💜🪽

First walk complete!

Today marks one month since we lost our precious Dad.
Myself, mom and the dogs have walked 5.3 miles to kick start the challenge today. 
Pit stop at The Cross inn at Finstall on the way around, had to be done! 

I’ve surpassed my £500 target goal so have decided to increase it to £700. Thankyou so much to all donators.
Let’s smash it!

Completely overwhelmed that we’ve made it to my goal already! 
I’ve decided to increase my goal to raise £500 for this charity, supporting research funding to try and find a cure/better treatment for a disease that devastates so many families each day. 💔


I start the challenge tomorrow, 60 miles for Dads 60 years.

The official challenge is Challenge 24 (walk 24 miles) but I want to try walk at least 60 miles during November. 
My first walk will be this Saturday 2nd November, one month since my Dads passing.
