I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
We are undertaking the challenge of racing to the International Space Station in 24 days to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK. This will involve mostly walking and running to complete the equivalent distance, which is 253 miles, of traveling to the space station.
We are doing this in memory of my mum, Andrea, who sadly passed away after a short battle with pancreatic cancer nearly 9 years ago. She was loved by everyone who met her and is massively missed. The race will be over 24 days with the final day being my mum's anniversary. This is because 24 people sadly lose their lives to pancreatic cancer every day.
We wanted to do something fun but challenging to remember my mum and raise as much money as possible for such an important cause, so we decided on Destination Space Station. We will continue to keep everyone updated along the way, so everyone can join us on our journey.
