Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. Please support me and help make a difference to pancreatic cancer.

In 2019 myself and my family found out my dad had pancreatic cancer and he had only got 3 to 6 months left to live but there might be ways of getting around it that might give him 5 to 10 years to live but he had to have a life risking operation my dad might of not got through it but luckily he did after this my dad recovered really well 

A few months after his operation he had a scan to see how things were getting on but unfortunately we found more cancer that had spread from his prancers to his lymph nodes so they had got my dad rushed into chemotherapy so my dad was now on aggressive chemo we had this for other 12 months after my dad got through this which was very tough and made him very ill he rang the bell and we all thought my dad was clear and it was all under control.....

A few months after this my dad started to get ill again and he was in a lot of pain in his lower back and wasn't sleeping at all due to how much pain he was in we went to his GP and all they said was for him to take more pain killers than he was taking but that still hasn't helping after all the trouble we went through to try and find what was going on eventually my dad got a scan 

Well here it was again we heard he had 3 to 6 months left and the chemotherapy didn't work and now the cancer has moved into his blood vessels behind his pancreas and it was inoperable they couldn't do anything about it but they wanted to try and keep the cancer under control so it  was back with chemotherapy but a different one which is currently helping my dad we are 8 months down the line and my dad is doing amazing 

I would just like to help other families that are going through the same experience as mine as this is the worst cancer you can get and the symptoms are not very recognizaple
