I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

This month I hope to raise money for pancreatic cancer UK, a charity very close to my heart,  after losing my most amazing mom to the illness in 2018. 
 Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most deadliest cancer strains, with one of the lowest rates of survival, with statistics showing most individuals lose their fight within 3 months of diagnosis, my incredibly strong mom managed to fight against the ruthless disease for just over 2 years, and never once gave up hope. 
My hope is that some day others just like mom will have the same hope, but with a much different outcome.

Pancreatic cancer UK in memory of my beautiful mom

Hi all, 
I've decided to set a goal of running 24 miles during this month to raise money for a charity very close to my heart. 
In 2018 I lost my beautiful mom after a 2 year fight with pancreatic cancer. Nothing prepares you for the journey it takes u on, the damage it courses, and the heart break it leaves behind. 
It remains one of the most deadliest and over looked strands of cancers out there, with statistics showing 3 months as the average life expectancy after diagnosis. 
Although my mom did not win her own fight against pancreatic cancer, I hope one day those still fighting will have a much higher chance of winning.
