I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. On average in the UK 24 lives are lost to pancreatic cancer every day. My aim is to run at least 24 kilometres every week for the month of July (which turns out to be 5 weeks) meaning that by the end of July I hopefully will have ran the equivalent of nearly 3 marathons. Being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer is the news no one wants to hear and no one deserves to hear. On 3rd June 2020 I sadly lost my uncle a true gentleman to this awful disease; with 3 young children, a beautiful wife and so much to live for, this disease takes away too many innocent lives. Please support me in my small step towards helping make a difference to pancreatic cancer.
