I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

As some of you already know, my brother-in-law, Dan, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer at the age of 35. This has been devastating, not only for Dan but for his entire family, in particular my wonderful big sister and 16 month old baby niece, Hazel.
Pancreatic cancer is an extremely aggressive disease. It is very difficult to detect early enough, and half of people diagnosed die within 3 months.
As we’ve seen in Dans case, it does not discriminate in who it affects. Despite all of this, only 3% of the UK cancer research budget goes towards pancreatic cancer.
In October, I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in order to raise money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer UK, a charity which does invaluable work to fund much needed research in this area, and support people affected by pancreatic cancer. Any donation, big or small, will be a massively valuable contribution to this cause and would be endlessly appreciated by myself and my family, as well as the many others affected by this horrific disease.
