I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. Please support me and help make a difference to pancreatic cancer.

Our team at work treat patients who have sadly been diagnosed with many cancers, pancreatic cancer being one of them. It is a very difficult illness to diagnose and I hope to raise awareness. Every day, 24 people in the UK are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. 

Unfortunately due to my knees (getting old obviously), I can’t run so the option to give up something for 24 days instead is something I can do. As many of you know, I have a full on addiction to tea - I love a good cup of tea. So for 24 days of July, I am giving up tea. This may not seem like a very difficult task to many but for someone who drinks at least 5-6 cups of tea a day, this is going to be a struggle! 

If you can spare anything at all, no amount is too big or too small, I would really appreciate the donation to help raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK

Day 7...

Hi everyone!! 

So we’re onto day 7 and I’m still surviving without tea! 

I must say, I have been super unwell over the weekend and today and I’m not sure if it’s just a viral thing that has coincidentally started or if it’s withdrawals from the tea but oh man, what a struggle.

Thank you all so much for the donations and the support, it means so much to me. Just another 17 days to go......

Hello everyone 👋 

Tomorrow... 1st July.... I start my challenge!!! 

Thank you SO much to each and every one of you who has donated money or shared my story. I am so appreciative of you all, you have no idea 🤍 

In case you’ve managed to miss my recent posts, every day in the UK, 24 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

So for 24 days, I am giving up my beloved cups of tea to raise as much money as I can for Pancreatic Cancer UK. This money will be used to help research, diagnose and treat pancreatic cancer. 

Please, please, please if you can, please donate anything at all or share my page; it’s all to raise awareness and money for an amazing cause.
