I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.
Survival rates for other cancers have improved dramatically in recent years. But decades of underfunding mean we still don’t have the tests and treatments to tackle this disease. People with pancreatic cancer have been overlooked and ignored for far too long.
That’s why I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK and I'd really appreciate your support. Your donations will support vital, world-leading research, ensure specialist nurses are there to take more calls and fuel campaigns to drive positive change.
Together, we will bring more than hope to people affected by pancreatic cancer.

Last day!
Well - here we are on the last day of November and last walk completed for the Pancreatic Cancer Charity. I am pleased to say that I have walked 63 miles this month and between you, you the very kind and generous sponsors, we have managed to raise £607! Thank you so much. You are great!! Share
Target exceeded!
The target of £600, which originally started out as £100, has now been exceeded and a total of £607, plus gift aid, has been raised. What an amazing amount and it's all down to you - my generous sponsors. I would just like to say a huge thank you! I am sure the charity are delighted. I will keep walking - trying to reach 60 miles by Saturday. Share
Almost there - day 25 of 30
Thank you to everyone who has very kindly donated to this great charity. Almost at the target of £600. £580 raised to date due to your kindness and generosity. 50 miles walked so far this month, so am setting a personal target of 60. Hope to achieve that. Share
Dilemma
Well it's happened again, target exceeded! What a great dilemma to have. Thank you to all who have donated for your amazing generosity. Hi, it's day 12 and feel good to say I have walked 22 miles of the 24 miles targetto raise funds for the charity. I do hope I can get more donations, as I would love to achieve the £350 target and then who knows, maybe push it on to £400. I intend to keep walking all November - for the charity.
