I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.

Survival rates for other cancers have improved dramatically in recent years. But decades of underfunding mean we still don’t have the tests and treatments to tackle this disease. People with pancreatic cancer have been overlooked and ignored for far too long.

That’s why I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK and I'd really appreciate your support. Your donations will support vital, world-leading research, ensure specialist nurses are there to take more calls and fuel campaigns to drive positive change.

Together, we will bring more than hope to people affected by pancreatic cancer.

My donations could fund...

5

hours with a nurse on our support line

2

hours of early diagnosis research

My Updates

Let’s bet pancreatic cancer 💪🏼

A year ago I was told the most horrible new that my grandma had pancreatic cancer. We was due to go away on holiday 8 days after that. I told her I was considering cancelling my holiday so I could stay with her. (Her reply was you better not cancel your kids holiday.! I will see you when your home am not going anywhere) by the time we got back she was in hospital half the woman I left 7 days ago. I was with her everyday while she was in hospital and everyday I was loosing more & more of her. I will never forget the time we had just us 2 in a hospital bed putting the world to right. The fight became to hard and i had to call the family in. I never left the hospital after that day it Was the most horrendous 2-3 days I have ever had. She finally gave her last breath on Tuesday the 21st of November 2023 at 13.52 with me by her side holding her hand.
I still can not believe how quickly we lost her. (Not even 4 weeks) from the day we found out to the day we lost her.
Pancreatic cancer really is a silent killer so I am asking for any donations big or small to help us fight it better we never managed to save my grandma but hopefully we can save someone else gran or family member
Thank you xx
