I worked with Julian in the 1990s. Fond memories of spending a day with him at the Open Golf in 1996 and the Lords Test match in 1999 where we drank too much and missed our connection in Swindon resulting in a hefty taxi bill. I also remember writing a poem for him one Xmas in which he was benchmarking Christmas and suggesting business improvements to Santa Claus! Happy days at Arle Centre in Cheltenham. RIP.
