Why I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.
Following life-changing surgery in 2019, my father was given two more precious years.
He would have been 72 this November, the month of his and my birth as well as Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
In his memory, and to honour all those affected by this cruel disease, I’ll be walking at least 72 miles this November.

While survival rates for other cancers have improved significantly in recent years, pancreatic cancer remains overlooked due to decades of underfunding. We still lack the necessary tests and treatments to effectively fight this disease, leaving those affected without the support they deserve.
That's why I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK, and I’d deeply appreciate your support. Your donations will fund groundbreaking research, provide specialist nurses to answer more calls, and fuel campaigns that push for real change.
