I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month
I recently lost my uncle David to pancreatic cancer six days after his 61st birthday. His health declined so rapidly that it left little time for us to process. It took just 35 days from his diagnosis for the cancer to sadly take him. To honour him, my siblings and I will be walking 35 miles this weekend (2nd & 3rd Nov) to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most lethal common cancers, with over half of patients passing away within three months of diagnosis. Unlike other cancers with improved survival rates, pancreatic cancer has experienced underfunding, leading to a lack of effective tests and treatments. Support through sponsorship via my sister's fundraising page would be greatly appreciated.
