Saturday 29 July 2023 - Morecambe Bay Group Walk - For Pancreatic Cancer UK

Our amazing Mum, Barbara Moorehead was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in Dec 2021.  
After a very brave battle, she never once complained about pain or allowed us to see the extent of her suffering, we lost her in May 2022, she was 78 years young.

Mum was a beautiful person, both inside & out, & would do anything to help anyone. 
Since Mums passing, , Dad has also passed away with a heart attack, just 9 months after loosing his precious world.

The average time from diagnosis of pancreatic cancer to passing is 3 months, Mum fought so hard for 6 months, she was incredible.

I've chosen the Morcambe Bay walk as Mum herself walked across the Bay twice for charities & really enjoyed it over there & the people she met along the way.
There are currently 31 of us crossing the Bay for this amazing charity.

I'd like to raise as much as possible with family & friends, to help find a cure for this cruel disease.    Please sponsor us on this walk if you can, even £1 is amazing, we appreciate every penny!

There hasn't been much progress in the last 50 years in combating Pancreatic cancer, it remains one of the most incurable cancers that there is, with often only palliative care as an option.
