I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

We are Pancreatic Cancer UK.

We go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease. Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, we do more.

We bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through our expert nurses. We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten.

1st Dip today 💜

Today was my first dip of ten. At the beautiful Camp Plas in Mid Wales. The water was around ten degrees so ten minutes in the water it was! Felt great especially with a sauna afterwards. Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored me, one down nine to go! 💜

Oh my goodness, thank you to everyone who has donated so far. It’s very kind and really much appreciated. Can’t wait for November now to get on with my dips! November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month 💜 so that is the reason I’ve chosen that month. Weather please be kind! Love Jane xxx 😁

Mum

It’s ten years ago since Mum passed away from Pancreatic cancer. From diagnosis to her death was six months. It’s a disease with varied and vague symptoms and very often diagnosed too late for any meaningful treatment. From the start Mum’s was Palliative Care only. Some families don’t even get that six months to love cherish and prepare. Research is vital to help to end this and to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms to look out for. Thank you for supporting me and Pancreatic Cancer UK. I’m going to be doing ten ten minute cold water dips in November. Hopefully in ten different places but that very much depends on weather and water conditions. Mum would think I was bonkers!
