I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.
Survival rates for other cancers have improved dramatically in recent years. But decades of underfunding mean we still don’t have the tests and treatments to tackle this disease. People with pancreatic cancer have been overlooked and ignored for far too long.
That’s why I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK and I'd really appreciate your support. Your donations will support vital, world-leading research, ensure specialist nurses are there to take more calls and fuel campaigns to drive positive change.
Together, we will bring more than hope to people affected by pancreatic cancer.
My donations could fund...

18
hours with a nurse on our support line

9
hours of early diagnosis research

Day 26 - Furthest yet
First walk + Rocco - all around routes he likes - 3 miles
Day 25
Early walk 3.5 miles with Rocco, 7.30 -8.45. Was going to do the route from Saturday( next town and back) but he had different ideas and we did a long hilly walk instead.
Day 24 Storm Bert and flooding
Did a long circular route to see how far it was and Google maps say 6 miles. Torrential rain again and wearing wellies this time as boots still wet from yesterday. Took phone for steps, tried to take photos of flood water, but now can't get phone to work. Short mile lunchtime, then pm Rocco walk, good pace, back in dryish boots, 1 hour 5 mins, calculated to 3,25 miles. Total 10,25 for a very very wet day. Share
