I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.

Survival rates for other cancers have improved dramatically in recent years. But decades of underfunding mean we still don’t have the tests and treatments to tackle this disease. People with pancreatic cancer have been overlooked and ignored for far too long.

That’s why I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK and I'd really appreciate your support. Your donations will support vital, world-leading research, ensure specialist nurses are there to take more calls and fuel campaigns to drive positive change.

Together, we will bring more than hope to people affected by pancreatic cancer.

Challenge completed

1.2 miles run with Oscar who joined me on my last run to make 50 miles for the month. It has all been worth it especially with the money I've raised which will help people with pancreatic cancer and all in memory of my amazing dad who sadly lost his life to this illness earlier in the year. Thank you all for the kind donations and messages, they have got me through it 💜

Monday night football

After a weekend off the running I have completed another 3.8 miles playing football so only 1.2 to do now before the end of the month. 

Friday evening run

A 3 mile run before the storm hits this weekend. Getting there with only 5 miles until my target and feeling great for all the running I've done. Thank you all for the donations, it's all for a great cause and in memory of my dad 💜

Thursday evening run

Another 2 miles run this evening and again it was freezing cold 🥶. All for a good cause and the messages and donations push me through the pain and cold.  Thank you all again 💜

2 miles run in the cold 🥶. 10 miles to go.  ..

Sunday morning run

Longest run so far this month of 6 miles taking my total to 38 miles so only 12 miles to go.
Surprisingly felt good running that, all the donations and messages made are making it so much easier doing all the running and pushing me through the pain knowing it is all for a good cause and in memory of my dad. So thank you to everyone that has donated 💜

Morning run

A quick 2 mile run to take my total up to 32 miles for the month. Thank you everyone for the donations 💜

Evening run

2.5 miles run this evening and legs are nearly falling off after this week's effort. Total run is up to 30 miles so far so another 20 miles to go. Thank you for all the donations and messages they definitely push me through the pain of running 💜

3 miles morning run, over half way to my target

Another 3 miles completed taking my total to 27.5 miles so over half way to my target now. Thank you again for all the donations 💜

Fundraising goal

Thank you so much to everyone for helping me reach my fundraising target of £500. All the comments and donations made are driving me on to complete the challenge and raise as much funds for pancreatic cancer in memory of my dad so thank you all. I have raised my target to £700 now 💜

Monday night football

Played 8 aside football up at Hayle football club and clocked another 3.5 miles. They all count. Thank you again to any donations that have been made 💜

Sunday morning run

Another 3 miles completed this morning with only 42 miles to go. The last mile was hard but managed to get through it even tho my calf's feel like they are hanging off.

A short 2 mile run completed. Legs are feeling it after only 2 days but it will be worth it with the money being raised in memory of my dad and to help with funding towards pancreatic cancer 💜

3 miles completed, only 47 miles to go...
I have upped my miles to 50 from 24 to do throughout November since I raised my target money to £500 which I will probably regret but it will be worth it all with all the money donated to help with research and funding for pancreatic cancer which is a horrible disease.

Running 24 miles in November

I am running 24 miles throughout November to donate money for pancreatic cancer and in memory of my dad. This illness took my dad's life too early and any donations would mean a lot so other people suffering from pancreatic cancer can get the best treatment which will hopefully help them beat this awful illness. I will keep the page updated with every run I complete.
