My mums story

On the 4th of august 2023, my beautiful mum was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, at the age of 49, this absolutely took our family by storm and rocked our world and broken all our hearts, with a short 7 week excruciating battle, my world turned upside down when my beautiful amazing caring mum passed away, due to this evil disease, this is not acceptable, 7  short weeks for this to do what it done to my mum, my mum did not stand a single chance with it and that’ hurts more than anything, on the first of November right throughout the month I will be running for pancreatic cancer, I want to raise money for this disease however more importantly I want to raise awareness of the deadly signs and symptoms of this horrible evil nasty cancer, the fastest killing cancer that there is. If anyone would like to kindly donate, every small amount helps towards more advanced research and treatment, this disease has left me without a mum at 29 and my two daughters without a nan, she was our world, in loving memory of my beautiful mum, Catherine Vaughan. 💜  Share
