I COMPLETED 150KM IN 20 DAYS

Thank you so much to my sponsors you have helped to make a difference so a huge THANK YOU!!! I am really pleased I hit my target of 150km in 20 days! It was not easy for me physically or mentally but what a great cause support! 

Why?

I am aiming to walking 150km in 24 days to raise money and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer Research!

I never knew how important a Pancreas was and how a well needed an organ deteriorates extremley fast. By the time someone knows they have Pancreatic Cancer....it's too late.  Never really understanding what and where the cancer was, how serious it could be, what procedures are needed to fight this Cancer, what body part might be lost in the fight I researched it and was so sad and shocked to find out the death rate is so very high and little research or awareness is out there!!

I also feel that this type of Cancer is not spoken of as often as other types so it would be a great thing to bring awareness to do Pancreatic Cancer and get people reading the information
