I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.
I am currently in recovery from deconditioning due to Functional Neurological Disorder and a genetic connective tissue disorder. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to raise some money in honour of my gran who sadly lost her life to pancreatic cancer when I was 15 years old.
I am planning to swim as much as my body will let me. My target is to swim 2 miles in a month which equates to around 40 lengths of a 25m pool every week.
People with pancreatic cancer have been overlooked and ignored for far too long which is why it is so important to bring awareness to this horrible disease.
Please donate whatever you can, every penny counts!
