I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Some friends and I are planning to
cycle 100 miles (a 'century') on the 1st of November 2020 to raise
money for Pancreatic Cancer UK. This is a cause that is very close to
home - I lost my Mum to Pancreatic Cancer in July 2019, and the time
between the diagnosis and her passing was less than two months. In
retrospect, I was lucky to be able to visit my Mum whilst she was ill,
and I dread to imagine the circumstances for the family members of those
who have been diagnosed during the pandemic.
Next month is
Pancreatic Cancer awareness month, and having always wanted to take on a
challenge in order to raise money, we'll be setting out on the Sunday
morning for 8 hours (likely more at our pace) in the saddle.
Please

and we can fund vital research and support for those living with and
affected by this awful illness.
