Ruby's Story
My daughter turns 17 at the end of August.Her Father unfortunately passed away at the end of February in 2023.
With his diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer in October 2022, she saw him twice before his passing.
He was 37.
At the end of May 2023, whilst collecting his ashes, I broke my leg, which is now healed.
In the last 24hrs I have walked 12 miles and thought to myself...
Let's challenge myself and raise some money at the same time, in honour of my eldest daughter Ruby Peters.
For her bravery, courage and strength shown since the passing of her Father, James Bryan Peters.
I will be walking 100 miles by the end of August 2023.
My walks began on the 11th August, 2023.
So far, the total is 12 miles, it is the 13th August, 2023.
Photos will be added in due course, once I feel there is enough public interest.
This is only the start of our fundraising journey.
November we will be taking part in awareness month.
