I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
As most of you know my hair has got pretty long! In a few days I'll be donating the majority of it to ‘The Little Princess Trust’, who provides real hair wigs to young people who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other conditions. In the process I would like to raise some money for another cause which is particularly close to my heart.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers. It is also the only cancer that has seen no improvement in this figure over the last 40 years. Despite its high death rate and lack of improvement in chances of survival, pancreatic cancer has attracted little research funding in comparison with many other cancers.
Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, treat and research. Please support me and help make a difference.
