I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

To celebrate my 50th birthday this year, I’m planning a party with all my friends and family. It will be a special occasion, although it feels bittersweet as neither my mum nor my sister, Jo, are here to celebrate with me.

Since losing Mum six years ago, I’ve taken part in a couple of fundraising events in her memory, and it feels like the right time to do something again.

So, instead of gifts, if you were thinking of bringing something like a bottle of wine, I’d be truly grateful if you would consider making a donation to a pancreatic cancer charity instead. Supporting this cause means a great deal to me, and it’s a way to honour Mum’s memory.

There is absolutely no pressure to donate—your presence at the celebration is more than enough—but if you would like to contribute, it would be very much appreciated.
