My Reason 💜

In 2021, I lost the most amazing human-being in my life to Pancreatic Cancer, My Grandad - Malcolm. Unfortunately his battle was very short and this awful illness took him away from us very quickly. 

He was everything to me and I still cannot wrap my head around how such an amazing person, a true gentleman, my hero - could be taken away from me within the blink of an eye. There was nothing we could do. 

Sadly, this isn't an uncommon story with Pancreatic Cancer. In fact over half of people diagnosed, lose their lives within three months. So many people, Mom's, Dad's, Aunts, Uncles, Nans and Grandad's, who would all be somebody else's hero. 

So that's why in memory and honour of my own Grandad, I want to raise as much money as possible for this cause. To get more research done and access to more support for those who suffer primarily with this cruel disease and those loved ones who are affected by it too. 

I'll be doing what I know how to do best. As part of the "24 Challenge" this amazing charity does in November I will be doing 24 SOLID HOURS of non-stop baking from the 23rd November at 12pm to the 24th November at 12pm and completing ALL bake orders with every penny going to this charity in my Grandad's name. I hope as many family & friends will support me in this madness once again 😂💜
