I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Last autumn the father of some friends of mine was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. Last week he passed away with his family around him.

I have known these guys (Peter and Neil) for nearly 40 years and they form a central part of our cycling group as well as being good family friends.

I will be joining them on this challenging bike ride from Lands End to London (details below) in honour of their dad and in support of Pancreatic Cancer uk.

Lands End to London in numbers:

Day 1 Land's End to Lostwithiel. 76 miles (including ride from Penzance to LE) 1,800m climbing.

Day 2 Lostwithiel to Honiton over Dartmoor. 89 miles, 3,000m climbing. Massive!

Day 3 Honiton to Salisbury. 90 miles, 1,600m climbing.

Day 4 Salisbury to London (Richmond Hill). 89 miles, 800m climbing.
