I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

For my grandma

November is pancreatic cancer awareness month and as many of you know I lost my grandma last year to pancreatic cancer in a short span of a few weeks.

This is not uncommon for people who are diagnosed with pancreatic Cancer and watching how my grandma deteriorated so quickly was one of the most painful things I’ve ever had to see and the loss of her has impacted us all so deeply.

My grandma was a caring, loving and happy lady all her life until the very end where this awful disease took her away from us.

But this is just my story of how my grandma was taken away from us so cruelly, there is up to 24 people a day who die from pancreatic cancer and there is still so sight that this will change any time soon.

So that’s why I am doing this challenge to do 24 miles through November, for my grandma and the 24 people who die each day to this awful disease, because this can’t go on any longer.

The funds I raise could support research into early detection and better treatments, and provide health professionals with the tools they need to spot patients’ symptoms earlier.

Your donation has the power to make that possible. Thank you.

My donations could fund...

4

hours with a nurse on our support line

2

hours of early diagnosis research

For my Grandma

It’s been over 2 years since we lost my wonderful grandma to pancreatic cancer.
I did this challenge last year but walked it so this year I’m going to run.
As many people know I hate running🤣 but I’m really going to try for my grandma and the other people that have suffered or are suffering from this awful disease because a little bit of pain from running is absolutely no comparison to the pain caused from pancreatic cancer.
Any support would be really appreciated.
Thank you, Anaïs.
