My target 24 mi
I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of my beautiful Nan
This Autumn I will be taking on Challenge 24 to help and support Pancreatic Cancer UK.
(15th October - 7th November)
This is an extremely tough cancer to diagnose, treat and research.
Three years ago, I lost my beautiful Nan to pancreatic cancer very suddenly. It was detected relatively late and the results were inconclusive until the end.
My incredible mum has done so much to help and support Pancreatic Cancer UK since, and now, during my gap year, she has inspired me to do the same.
I will be walking, running and swimming a total of 24miles in 24 days.
I have decided to split the activities in this time to firstly swim 12 miles (19,312metres) in 12 consecutive days. Over the following 12 days I will be walking/running the remaining 12 miles.
Please help me support those who have been through or are going through the same devastation. With your help and support we can make a difference to and fight Pancreatic Cancer.
