I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Last September our family received the horrific news that our beloved Gd had pancreatic cancer. He passed just a few short weeks after we found out that he was ill.
Pancreatic cancer is an awful disease and one that is tough to diagnose, treat and research. 7 in 10 people are diagnosed too late to receive any treatment, and more than half of people diagnosed die within 3 months.
We would do anything to have Gd back, and so we want to raise money to try and help other families avoid the pain and loss that we have gone through.
Me and my mum Keli will be doing this challenge and will walk, run or cycle a mile a day each for the 24 days between the 6th and 30th of September 2021.

We did it!
Thank you so much to everyone that donated to this fundraiser, every pound and penny has meant we have been able to raise over £1,000 and support 10 days of fantastic research into pancreatic cancer. We did our daily runs and walks (when we were tired!) and then persevered through and are so proud of what we achieved. It was recently Gd’s anniversary, and it was very humbling to think that we have made such a big effort and potentially been able to help someone else.
