Lady Captains Charity
One of the objectives the Lady Captain carries out as part of her role is to choose a charity of her choice & host events to raise money. I chose this charity as a retired health professional I worked closely in this field for many years. I know how vital these services are to patients with this diagnosis. It is also very important to raise awareness of this cancer so that treatment can be started asap. I will be doing this at the golf club as well as raising money. My good friends from the golf club Jean, Victoria & Nuria plus their friends, Denise, Marge, Jill & Vickie agreed to complete this challenge in July. It will be interesting to see if they are still my friends post bike ride! Go girls. I will be waiting at the end with cheers & chairs if you can sit down that is.
