We're taking on the Challenge 24 to fundraise for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month
Our Dad, Sean Moran was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on 3rd March 2023. With treatment he fought a hard battle against this disease. Anyone who knew Daddy will know that everyday he got up and kept going. He never gave up and kept fighting to the end.
We were all heartbroken when we lost Daddy to pancreatic cancer on 2nd December 2023.
On the 4th November this year he would have celebrated his 70th birthday. We felt with November being pancreatic cancer awareness month it would be very fitting to fundraise in Daddy’s memory to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer for early detection and diagnosis with all proceeds going towards pancreatic cancer uk.
We are taking on the Challenge 24 where we will each Walk, jog or cycle 24 miles this November for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and help fund research breakthroughs that could save lives 🏃♀🚴♀🚶♀
Every day in the UK, 24 people die from pancreatic cancer.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.
That’s why we're fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK and we'd really appreciate your support. Your donations will support vital, world-leading research, ensure specialist nurses are there to take more calls and fuel campaigns to drive positive change.
Together, we will bring more than hope to people affected by pancreatic cancer.
