I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK, by walking 31 miles in August

I  will be walking "31 In August"- 31 miles to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer, UK. My walks will be around Draycote Water, in Warwickshire on Tuesday 10th August 2021. 

This walk will be challenging in a good way, it is important to try to do something positive and help where possible.

Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. Please support me and help make a difference to pancreatic cancer.

My Last Leg 31.8.21

Last day of August and my challenge is over. My beautiful youngest sister Hazel is facing her next one tomorrow and we are in awe of her energy, upbeat outlook and sheer inspirational attitude!  Our group of 12 set off together but Hazel and her great friend Annette positively flew round, and completed the 5 miles in no time! We were touched by the kindness of two separate ladies who approached us to donate money to our fund-raising.

26th August in Suffolk

Organised by my wonderful youngest son, my family showed their support for PCUK fund-raising by walking 5 miles near Minsmere, from Sizewell Beach. 
I am very grateful to the lovely Fiona of PRO-Locksmith on Arbury Road in Nuneaton for her generosity and for pulling out all the stops to provide our printed tee-shirts at the last minute.

Another walk round Draycote, this time with support from the lovely Kym. Only once round, today, but another 5 miles added to my score. But Hazel has covered 32 miles in just ONE week!!  Isn't she AMAZING? XXX

17th August and my second double lap of Draycote Water.

17th August and my second double lap of Draycote Water. The clockwise morning session with sisters, the anticlockwise solo session in the afternoon was much quicker! Obviously they hold me back!

I was accompanied by my wonderful eldest son and inspirational grandson for the first day of our double laps of Draycote Water.
