I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

I am funding for PCUK because just over three years ago my husband died from that disease.   He stayed at home, in our bed and I had the privilege of caring for him .  It was six months from diagnosis till death,  I never realised until those few months just how quickly time passes, especially when you don’t want it to.

There was nothing I could think of to contribute toward this charity, until I was talking with a friend about how I have always wanted to abseil.  This seemed  most apposite thing I could do and dedicate it to my husband and all others who have or or had this ruthless illness.
