I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

This January I will be running / walking for the Pancreatic Cancer 24 challenge. We very sadly lost a colleague to this disease after only being unwell / diagnosed for a few weeks. 

Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. Please support me and help make a difference to pancreatic cancer.

Week 4: Smashed the miles - over 150 for the month of January

Loved this challenge and totally surprised myself with the miles achieved and the increased motivation to get out! 

So happy to have achieved over 150 miles of running and walking during the month of January and personally made some great progress with my running goals at the same time as raising money for such a worthy cause.

I've decided to really push myself in Feb and run a half marathon (my first ever attempt at this distance) and raise more funds for Pancreatic Cancer :-) 

Week 3: 36.7 miles covered!

Today marks the end of week 3 of the challenge and all day I've been thinking I should really go for a run, but my legs are saying no!! I have still walked just over 3 miles though!! 

Turns out I've managed to walk & run a massive 36.7 miles this week. With a crazy work week, 2 10k runs and a parkrun in there I'm really pleased!

Week 2 - 29 miles completed (53 miles in total)

Wow! I am so pleased with my progress this week. I really thought I'd struggle to maintain the mileage this week but somehow managed to beat last weeks miles :-) 


Week 1 done - 24 miles in total

I've just completed day 7 and have managed 10 walks and 2 runs totally 24 miles! It has been great to get out and about more myself after having a break from running due to illness.

Next week will be harder due to a medical procedure, but I am determined to log something for each day!
