24km run on Saturday 9th November

By Gail Jamieson

I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

I am running 24km on Saturday 9th November in support of Pancreatic Cancer Research UK in memory of my Auntie Ann who died of this dreadful disease in June, 3 months after diagnosis.
If this charity means something to you, please consider a donation to this worthy cause.
A 21km run from Fairburn to Tadcaster has been organised by the Cops N Plodders as one leg of a massive relay event in North Yorkshire.
My good friend, Sally Ann Polkey has arranged for a few of us to run together, holding a wooden truncheon that will get passed onto the next leg.
I am delighted to use this fantastic event to raise money for this worthy charity. I will be running the extra 3km before the relay starts to complete 24km.
24km represents  the 24 people in the UK 🇬🇧 who die from Pancreatic Cancer each day.
My Uncle Chris, who lost Auntie Ann in June is walking 240,000 steps in November and my cousin, Virginia, is running/walking 24 mins every day in November.

My donations could fund...

16 hours with a nurse on our Support Line

or

7 hours of early diagnosis research
